Really happy with this knife! I wanted something I could leave in my backpack that was solid enough for whatever I might need it for and not have to worry about it rusting when I’m fishing in the rain or snow machining in the bush. The N690 is an upper middle class stainless that seems to have good reviews but this is the first knife I’ve owned with that steel. The full tang is slightly larger than the scales but it’s nicely rounded so it’s still quite comfortable. The handle is large enough that I will still be able to use it with size Lg gloves on without any finger crowding. The blade is plenty thick to take lots of abuse and has a sharp 90 degree spine. The fit and finish is exceptional. Everything’s even and there are no gaps anywhere. The only faults I can find (if I’m being very critical) are that he grind lines are just a hair uneven where they meet the spine at the tip but you really have to be looking for that to notice it. The jimping is very comfortable but should be extended about a 1/2” closer to the handle. There is a secondary bevel so it’s not a true zero grind Scandi but I plan on turning that into a slight convex edge so it’s no issue really. Overall I am very impressed and completely satisfied with this knife!
