Eberlestock Halftrack Pack - Black

I have this pack for almost 4 months, and it have been used daily.

What I like: multiple compartments and pockets to easily separate items. Straps can be either tucked into a pocket or has Velcro ends that you can roll up and secure onto. Extremely comfortable, and breathable molded back panel, harnesses and waist belt. Suspension system does take heavy load (comfortable at 50 pounds) as claim, and no exaggerated side to side pack motion. 1000 denier construction allowed for hard usage. Nice thick handle strap at the top of the pack.

What I don't like: Very heavy for its initial weight. I don't know how they came up with 50L rating, but compared to a 50L outdoor pack, it holds way less, about 30L. Catch all pockets becomes unusable if the side compartments is filled up. Brown rain cover...they don't have black version? Metal stays that is part of the suspension system is questionable...I cannot tell the difference if it is in or not.

Overall impression: Good tough pack, with excellent suspension system. Lots of pockets and molle for different configurations. But because of its weight, and less than 50L volume, and price, I cannot justify myself from buying another from them again.
