The Tougher Delica
So much has been written about the classic Delica 4 however most reviews concentrate on the flat grind blade with much less admiration of the original Sabre grind with its thicker more robust blade & consequently stronger tip which is great for tougher work. The extra heft & steel inner liners enhance the effect with the combo edge-a real tough classic! As far as a slicer I’ve found it’s a wonderful complement to the newer Chaparral Frn which in my & others views have exceeded the Delica 4 full flat grind re blade thinness & steel quality with a a superb finish & full metal back lock. Both knives with the combo edge & great foliage colour too along with tge Chaparral are a great pair .
