I actually ordered the mil spie 3.5 hunters point recurve version of this knife... so -1 for that. However once I got the knife in hand, I've decided to keep it. As I have a few other recurve knives and only one tanto style. Tanto blades are simpler to sharpen than recurve blades. And the tanto just looks, feels and handles beautifully. The pictures do not do the blade justice... the cutouts on the handle are milled and shiny, the lockup and blade centreing are perfect.it came shaving sharp,.... as a utility edc knife, the tanto blade gives you two discrete cutting surfaces one smaller for fine work, and the longer edge for broader work. For such a large pocket knife it's incredibly light and just seems to disappear in the pocket..... the clip is just the right combination of grippiness ease of use and discreetness... only complaint is that it rides slightly high, and shows a lot of knife ... but having said that this also makes it very easy to hold onto and get at the knife from your pocket. I use and love the mil spie 3 fixed blade as my camping hiking personal knife. But in town and at work this folder may be the perfect edc blade
