This Vosteed Mini Night Shade is a good alternative to a Spyderco Sage 5. I like it better than the two Sage 5's I own. It's a cross between a Benchmade Bugout and a leaf shaped blade Spyderco knife. It is built in commemoration of the Shilin knife line from Taiwan and mainland China. I'm very surprised and grateful Vosteed made these knives. I recently bought two variations from Blades Canada and two Vosteed Shilin Cutters with the new Vanchor Lock system from another knife dealer. This knife is very practical and I use it daily.
