White River Trailhead Trapper Folding Knife, CPM S35VN, Micarta Natural, WRTHT-BNA

$349.99CDN

THE TRAILHEAD OF A NEW ERA -WHITE RIVER’S FIRST FOLDER!

We’re thrilled to finally introduce a project that’s been in the works for over a year—the Trailhead Trapper! The first White River folder! This isn’t just any slipjoint knife; it’s a culmination of decades of knife-making experience and an exciting partnership with Smith and Sons Knife Company.

Both companies have poured our hearts into this knife, drawing from our combined experience as full-time knifemakers since 2011 (and custom makers since the late '90s). The Trailhead Trapper is designed by Smith and Sons and made entirely in the USA by White River Knife and Tool.

Each Trailhead Trapper is built to meet our rigorous standards for superb fit and finish. The blade is wire EDM cut from S35VN steel, known for its exceptional durability and edge retention. The spine is carefully hand-profiled, and the liners are relieved to reduce drag and eliminate tang scratching, giving the knife a unique touch typically only seen in the custom knife world. It walks! It talks! The 'snap' into each position is endlessly satisfying.

We’ve made this knife to offer the best in both form and function. Each Trailhead Trapper is meticulously hand-finished to ensure the blade is well-centered and the backspring is level in the closed, half-stop, and open positions. These details might seem small, but for us, they make all the difference.
